Jeff Traugott has been catering to acoustic string players since opening a small music store in 1984. While study music in college, Traugott became enthralled by the art of lutherie, and in 1986, he began working for the Santa Cruz Guitar Co. While working there, Traugott began offering handmade custom guitars for sale out of his own, recently opened shop.

Known for hand crafting world-class flat-top guitars from some of the finest rare woods, Traugott currently offers four different models, all of which include their own special features, ranging from fan frets to intricate artwork found on the neck and headstock. Luthier’s Collection’s stock of Traugott guitars is constantly changing, as each guitar is a custom one-of-a-kind and gone from the shelves after it is purchased.

Considered by musicians to be among the finest instruments in the world, the waiting list for a Traugott guitar now spans several years.
